Deyermond Field

Deyermond Memorial Field is in Andover, Massachusetts. It is used for youth baseball and soccer games and practices, and includes dugouts, batting cages, a snack shack, and lights for night games. It was built on an improperly capped land fill and is set to be destroyed 2010-2011. In 1987 Chandler Field (on Chandler Road, Andover Massachusetts) was renamed the Deyermond Memorial Field in memory of Warren Charles (Buster) Deyermond. Buster, a member of the Andover High School class of 1966, who died in Vietnam. His name is also listed on the Vietnam Memorial.
