Deville Glacier

Deville Glacier (64°48′S 62°35′W / 64.8°S 62.583°W / -64.8; -62.583) is a glacier flowing along the south side of Laussedat Heights into Andvord Bay, on the west coast of Graham Land. The glacier is shown on an Argentine government chart of 1952. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1960 for Edouard G. Deville (1849–1924), Surveyor-General of Canada, 1885–1924, who introduced and developed photogrammetric methods of survey in Canada from 1888 onward.
