Devapur

Devapur is a Town in Kasipet Mandal in Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Orient Cement company is located in the town and the area is known for its hills and beauty. Lok Sabha Constituency is : Bellampally.

The population of the village as per the Census of India 2001 Data is : 9507.

The nearest towns and railway stations are Mancherial and Bellampalli.

Most of the people in the village are employed by the Orient Cement Company.

There is a missionary school "Carmel Giri Convent High School" which offers education in both English and Telugu medium till Class X. Though there is no church, there is a convent that is run by the missionaries that run the school.

There is a medical dispensary for minor ailments and major ailments need to be treated at Mancherial and the employees and their family are treated in MEDICITY Hospitals in Hyderabad.

There are two parts of the village: Devapur Village, the older area, where the farmers and merchants live and Devapur Township where there are quarters for the employees of the cement plant.

There is a Hindu Temple named Shiva Panchayatha Hanuman Gayatri Radha Krishna Venkateshwara Swamy temple and a mosque.

The majority of the people speak Telugu, Hindi and English

There is an indoor stadium and gymnasium in the village which everyone can use.
