Dessie Teacher's Education College

Dessie Teacher's Education College is a teacher's college in Ethiopia, found in the South Wollo zone which is known as Dessie. It is managed by the Amhara National Regional State Education Bureau.[1]

The college was established in 1972 as teacher training institute for teachers at the primary level. The capacity of the buildings was considered to be sufficient for about 500 trainees. At that time it was started with the aim of preparing teachers for elementary first cycle level in the in-service and pre-service program.
