Dervish Cara

Dervish Cara(?-?) was an Albanian leader known for his role in the Albanian Revolt of 1844, a revolt also known by his name as "The Revolt of Dervish Cara". He was born in the village of Palčište, near Tetovo. He was captured by Ottoman forces and sentenced to death, but the sentence was later reduced to a lifetime sentence. He died in the Ottoman prisons.[1]
