Delta Omicron Gamma is a service organization dedicated to showing college students that one can utilize their religious beliefs and have fun in college. It is Delta Omicron Gamma's ambition to serve as a beacon for all college organizations to unify and to show their creativity as a whole.

Purpose
Delta Omicron Gamma Fraternity, Inc. was founded with the purpose of assembling college males and females in the fellowship of Christianity, to raise the standard of morality, and to promote ideal character. Delta Omicron Gamma encourages its members to strive for high standards of scholarship, identify self purpose, and to make positive contributions to humanity.
History

Founding
The Fraternity was founded as Gamma Omicron Delta on April 9, 1998 and was sanctioned as an official group on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin. Twelve students and one Graduate brought this monumental occasion into being.
The First Rush. The first intake of Gamma Omicron Delta began on Feb 16, 1998. There were Eleven Candidates who endeavored to become the first members of the organization. These members included the following:
Latesha Martin, Crystal Wilson, Lashaunda Terry, Jamecca R. Means, Fannia Boone, Tamika Bolden, Lakisha Holmes, Lujaclyn Taylor, Scottie Adams, Aviance Durr, and Javante Britton. The Eleven Apostles crossed the burning sands to become the Founding Line of G.O.D on April 19, 1998.
By 2009, the Fraternity had began dissolution but a few members wanted to revive the organization. In 2009, its members decided to change its name to Delta Omicron Gamma Fraternity and was incorporated under the Articles of Corporation in the State of Georgia on June 16, 2009.
