Delran Fire Department is a department of the fire of Delran Township, New Jersey, United States of America.

The Department of Delran is structured with two different stations in the city. Station No. 1 and the No. 2 Station, are the emergency fire station on the town, working in the area with many active members. The members are all volunteers who work in the field. The rescue operations are coordinated by supervisors from the fire, and carried out with equipped vehicles in the stations. The two stations have the history and origins in the early twentieth century, during the demographic development of the city of Delran[1]

Brief history

The Delran Fire Department Co. No. 1 (or Station 231) was founded in April 1916, and built a new building in 1991[1].

The department is located at 9 S. Bridgeboro Street in the city of Delran.

The station has about 35 active members and an emergency response that responds to fire with more than 600 calls a year.

The department has six pieces of motor apparatus in the station which includes compatibility, the following:

  • Two engines, a 100 'tower ladder is a unit of Cascade,
  • Brush a truck, the latest generation
  • A police vehicle fire, well equipped
  • A small boat for water operations.

The Delran Fire Company No. 2 (or Station 232) was formed in 1928 to cover the area of Riverside Park in the city of Delran Township.

The department is now in a new location, is located at 1020 Chester Ave, right, and on the outskirts of the city.

The station 232 is composed of over 50 active members volunteer and currently operates the following means:

  • A type Squrt Pumper,
  • An engine of foam,
  • Half of heavy rescue,
  • A utility van, Light duty
  • Vehicle Station support.
