DelCampo International School

DelCampo International School is located in the region of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. It is considered^{[by whom?]} one of the highest rated educational centers for children in Honduras.

The school has continued to invest in the growing of its facilities to serve its students. Recently,^[when?] it purchased an artificial turf pitch from Xtreme Turf. This football turf was manufactured and installed by ACT Global Sports. The benefits of the synthetic grass system for sports field turf include more recreational and playing hours, reduced maintenance and long-term performance.

From its inception, an important characteristic of DelCampo International School has been its commitment to meeting the diverse learning needs of all students. Today's DelCampo provides special education services through a well-developed Learning Resource Center. The center is staffed with a highly qualified faculty^{[citation needed]} and offers five service programs ranging from inclusion to homebound instruction.

Most recently,^[when?] DelCampo International School has entered into the field of adult and continuing education. This program is geared toward providing educational services to members of the community at large. The early evening and weekend class times fit conveniently into the schedules of working adults. English as a Second Language and the Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras por Madurez (equivalent to U.S. GED) are examples of some of the course offerings.

DelCampo International School's history of achievement in providing college counseling services and assisting students seeking to continue their studies at the university level outside of Honduras is well known.^{[citation needed]} The College Counseling office has successfully developed strong binding relationships with university admissions offices throughout the United States. These relationships have translated into millions of dollars of scholarship money for DelCampo students. The program's success is a testament to the school's quality academic program and most importantly to the academic ability of the DelCampo student.^{[citation needed]}
