Deema Shehabi (born 1970) is a Kuwaiti-born poet and writer. The daughter of Palestinian parents, she relocated to the United States in 1988. Her poems, for which she has been nominated for a Pushcart prize, have been widely published in literary journals and compiled in anthologies. She now lives in California and has two sons and a loving husband.
