Death of Masego Kgomo

On December 31, 2009, in South Africa, 11-year-old Masego Kgomo was murdered in order to sell some of her body parts to a Sangoma (a practitioner of Muti).^[1] Five people have been charged with her kidnapping and murder.^[2] Her father is a pastor at the St Michael's Apostolic Church in Soshanguve.^[3] Her gruesome murder has sparked calls to practitioners of muti to end murdering children for their body parts.^[4][5]
