Dean Fausett

Dean Fausett (1913 -1998) was an American painter.

Fausett was born in Price, Utah, in 1913. He studied at Brigham Young University, Beaux Arts Institute of Architectural Education, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, and Eastern Illinois University. He is well known for his spectacular paintings of the American West. He is the recipient of the Carnegie International Prize, and his works are featured in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, and the New York City Museum of Fine Art. Fausett died in 1998.

Fausett's brother, Lynn Fausett, was also a painter.
