Alec de Candole

Alexander Corry de Candole (also known as Alec de Candole) (born 26 January 1897 at Cheltenham - Bonningues, 3 September 1918), was a poet (see "A Deep Cry") and Lieutenant in the Wiltshire Regiment.[1] He was the only sibling of Henry Handley Vully de Candole. He was killed in action in September, 1918. His poems were published by The University Press in 1920, under the title "Poems".
