Davin O'Neill is a professional footballer who currently plays for Cork City in the League of Ireland.

Playing career

Davin won the League of Ireland First Division in 2007 with Cobh Ramblers and he was named in the PFAI First Division Team of the Year the same year.^[1] He continued to play for Cobh in the Premier Division in 2008, but they were relegated that year.

He signed for Cork City on December 4, 2008 from neighbours Cobh Ramblers.^[2] O'Neill can play either on the right side of midfield, or as a striker. He gained attention during a rich vein of form in the 2008 League of Ireland season, creating many goals for teammates and scoring 8 in total himself while playing in a midfield role.

O'Neill scored his first goal for Cork City on April 3, 2009 in a league match against Bohemians at Dalymount Park.

In March 2010, O'Neill signed a new contract with Cork City.^[3]
