David Voas is a quantitative sociologist of religion and current Simon Professor of Population Studies[1] at the University of Manchester. A graduate of both the London School of Economics and University of Cambridge, he was appointed to the post in 2007 having previously served as the Simon Research Fellow at the Cathy Marsh Centre for Census and Survey Research.
