David Tutera, (born April 23, 1966) is a celebrity wedding planner, bridal fashion designer, author and professional speaker. David is the author of four books, and is the host of WE tv’s show, My Fair Wedding with David Tutera. He has launched David Tutera By Faviana,[1] a line of luxury wedding gowns inspired by celebrity red carpet fashions and has been awarded “Best Celebrity Wedding Planner” by Life & Style Magazine.[2]Tutera’s grandfather, a successful florist, first noticed his grandson’s artistic ability at an early age and encouraged David to pursue his passion. At age 19, with the advice of his grandfather and only one client, David opened his own events planning business.
Named by Modern Bride Magazine as one of the Top 25 Trendsetters of The Year, David was also awarded “Best Celebrity Wedding Planner” by Life & Style Magazine. David's clientele list includes Star Jones' wedding, NY Giants Antonio Pierce’s wedding and events for Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, the Official Post Grammy Parties in New York City, Elton John, Barbara Walters, the Rolling Stones, Vice President Al Gore at the White House, Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Susan Lucci, the John F. Kennedy Center, as well as countless film premieres and celebrity parties for royalty, politicians and socialites. Tutera has also designed events for several charities including the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Association, DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) and The Nature Conservancy. Additionally David is also a professional speaker hired to lecture on the topics of weddings, lifestyle, design and more.
Currently in its 4th season, David’s show, “My Fair Wedding With David Tutera” airs on WE tv featuring 12 new hour-long episodes. “My Fair Wedding With David Tutera” has established a fan following that has made it one of WE tv’s highest-rated and most popular shows.
David has written seven books including: My Fair Wedding (Gallery Books), The Big White Book Of Weddings: The How-To Guide For The Savvy, Stylish Bride (St. Martins Press), Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings (Disney Publishing), Big Birthdays (Bulfinch Press), The Party Planner (Bulfinch Press), America Entertains: A Year of Imaginative Parties (Stewart, Tabori and Chang) and A Passion for Parties: Your Guide to Elegant Entertaining (Simon & Schuster).
David Tutera has partnered with Mon Cheri to launch the “David Tutera for Mon Cheri” wedding dress collection. “David Tutera for Mon Cheri” bridal gowns will be available at authorized retailers internationally and retail from $750 - $1,575. The “David Tutera for Mon Cheri” wedding dress collection will feature designs ranging from traditional ball gowns to modern dresses, couture fashions to more informal designs.
David has also debuted the David Tutera Bridal Jewelry Collection at Sears which is available both online and at Sears locations. The line of engagement rings and wedding bands fit within four distinct collections- Eternal, Heirloom, Radiance and Legacy.
In addition, David has teamed up with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores to create Down the Aisle in Style™, a new line of wedding accessories and embellishments for the stylish bride. The collection is available online at Joann.com and in 248 Jo-Ann locations nationwide.
David has been featured on Oprah, Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, The Rachael Ray Show and Wendy Williams. In addition People, USA Today, In Touch, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, In Style, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, and Town & Country have all featured his work. David Tutera lives in both New York City and Los Angeles.

Personal Life
David Tutera is married to his long term partner Ryan Jurica in a Vermont civil union ceremony in 2003.[3] David's family runs a funeral home.
