After a college career at the
University of Missouri andSouthern Illinois University , Hudson was not selected in the NBA draft. Since earning a hard-fought spot on theUtah Jazz in 1998, he later played for theLos Angeles Clippers and theOrlando Magic . However, his most productive seasons have come in Minnesota, where he averaged a career-best 14.2 pts and 5.7 assist per game in 2002-03 and would be known as the "Laker Killer" for his outstanding postseason play against theLos Angeles Lakers . Since landing a nice contract extension in 2003, Hudson has been plagued by nagging injuries that have hurt his production in recent years. He has averaged 9.2 points per game throughout his career. His contract with the Timberwolves was bought out on August 3, 2007.
