David Nachmias (Δαυίδ Ναχμίας) is a Greek Musician, arranger & pianist who devoted his career to the rediscovery of Greek Vintage Music.

Early life
David Nachmias, (March 19 1966) was born in Bombay, India into a Greek Jewish family, but lived his entire life in Athens.
Education
David attended the six year elementary school of the Athenian Jewish Community, American Community School. He graduated from St. Lawrence College and then University of La Verne with major in psychology.
For 15 years he studied piano, music theory and orchestration at the National Conservatory of Athens.
Career
Initially he worked as a radio presenter for four years at the Greek National classical music/arts & culture radio station .
From 2001 until recently, he directed and presented his own weekly show entitled, “Ihnilates & Timis Eneken” on Greek public television. In this endeavour, he interviewed more than 200 of the foremost Greek personalities (poets, authors, composers, etc). He also directed and presented documentaries on remarkable historic personalities like Attik [1], Nikos Gounaris, Pythagoras Papastamatiou, Sapfo Notara, Michael Souyoul [2], Orestis Laskos and the last live interview with Danae [3]. David continues to arrange songs from sheet music for contemporary orchestras while maintaining the spirit of the original composers.
Since 2001, David devoted his life in the exploration of Greek Retro music & songs. He arranged hundreds of songs from original music sheets for contemporary orchestras maintaining the original spirit of the composers. Several singers honored his work, giving back to Greeks all over the world marvelous music pieces and songs that tend do be classics nowadays. Singers like Hrysoula Stefanaki,[4] Thanos Polydoras, Maria Kanelopoulou, Babis Velisarios, Sia Koskina and many others sung famous songs.
Presently
David broadcasts through the Voice of Greece radio program to the entire world, the origins of Greek Retro as well as with his numerous TV presentations to all major Greek Networks. In 2010 he organized the music presentation of Greek Tango in Houston TX, with Hrysoula Stefanaki, as a guest of Hellenic Cultural Center of the Southwest[5].
Today David is broadcasting his weekly shows about Greek vintage music at the "second" [6] public radio channel of [7] Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation
