Kolossos Rodou BC and Pro career

Kolossos BC replaced John Edwards(2.11-C) with David Monds(2.03-PF/C)

John Edwards suffered from a sprained ankle injury and was already sidelined but the reason that he was replaced was that the head coach of Kolossos, coach Sferopoulos, wanted a different type of player in the center position. He wanted a player that could contribute in scoring and so David Monds was signed to help the Greek team reach the playoffs again as they did last season. Monds is a physical player who attacks the basket from close range and will rarely take a shot from long range.

Monds comes from a good season in the NBDL with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds and the Dakota Wizards. He also played briefly in Puerto Rico for Grises de Humacao. His best streak was with Albuquerque where he averaged 13.4 points 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 30 games in the NBDL.
