Luxury lifestyle entrepreneur David Johnstone started his career at the Grosvenor House Hotel at the age of 18. He remained there for four and a half years where he learnt the ropes of the hospitality industry.
David then travelled the world as the PA to a self-made telecoms businessman. On his return to the UK, David drew on his experiences to create the first concierge service ‘The Savile Row of Tailor Made England’. David continued his flair for the creative by starting the first virtual private members club The Renaissance Club (RClub), in the process creating a whole new genre of business. [1]
Acknowledged as an expert and innovator in the luxury lifestyle & loyalty sector, David launched Key-2 Luxury, the only accessory in the world not available for purchase by the general public, in 2004, joined in 2007 by former deputy chairman of the Man Group plc Stanley Fink as co-director. [2]
Running alongside these other projects David maintains creative commercial consultancy DJI Consult, which applies its expertise in the luxury lifestyle and event management to assist other companies with projects. Recognised as a leader in its field, DJI Consult was asked by Peter Orton of HIT Entertainment to co-organise the Children's Party at the Palace to celebrate The Queen, Elizabeth’s 80th birthday.
