David Ashton (actor)

David Ashton is a Scottish character actor who played Dr McDuff in the Granada Television Series Brass and Major Roddy Maclean in the Scottish television series Hamish Macbeth^[1] in the 1990s.

He is the creator of the BBC Radio 4 drama series "McLevy",^[2] and author of fictional books continuing the stories.^[3]
