Dave Cirino (born David Riveria Cirino Jr.) is an American singer-songwriter, producer, engineer and actor who has released a J-Dilla tribute-inspired mixtape "Backpaks and Yak" hosted by DJ Kool Kid.[1] He is also releasing a studio album "R&B Rockstar" off of Purple Fox Digital. Dave Cirino, previously known as J-RE, has also been nominated as "Next Artist to Blow" in 2007 by yoraps.com.[2]
He released an independent album entitled Love Chronicles in 2006 under the stage name J-RE.[3][4]
Dave Cirino has gained a substantial fan base among independent artists as a result of his YouTube tutorials on building a home studio.[5][6]
