Dash 10

Dash 10 is an electronic countermeasures (ECM) pod used on aircraft such as the Blackburn Buccaneer at RAF Honington. It was also used in the Falklands War by the Avro Vulcan Bomber.

Functionality

The Dash 10 is designed and used to counter radar guided weapons, by manipulating the signal detected from such a weapon and returning it, to trick the weapon into aiming at an imaginary target miles away from the Dash 10.
