Darkroom manipulation

Darkroom manipulation

Darkroom manipulation is a traditional method of manipulating photographs without the use of computers. These manipulations are often surreal and realistic. However, this method is much more difficult than digital photo manipulation because everything is done by hand.

Some of the common techniques for darkroom manipulation are dodging, burning and Masking (in art), which are undoubtedly similar to digital manipulations but everything is done physically rather than virtually.
