Dario Alessi FRS (born France) is a British biochemist, Professor of Signal Transduction, at University of Dundee,[1] and Programme Leader in the Medical Research Council Protein Phosphorylation Unit, since 1998.[2][3][4]
Life
He attended high school in Brussels. He graduated from the University of Birmingham, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1988, and with a Ph.D. in 1991, where he studied with Ian Trayer and David Trentham[5]. His postdoctoral research was with Sir Philip Cohen FRS from 1991 to 1997.[6][7]
