Biography
Born to Nigerian parents, Dapo begun his career within the media industry as a video producer in London and New York. Before this, he played collegiate basketball at Campbell University and Bellarmine University where he also obtained his bachelors and masters degrees. Dapo is also the brother of British actor, O. T. Fagbenle, and video producer, Luti Fagbenle.
Basketball
Dapo began playing basketball in London, England, where he played for the Westminster Warriors. As a stand out player he decided he would pursue his athletic career by going to the United States where he attended the Master's School in Connecticut for a year. Dapo received a 4 year scholarship to play basketball at Campbell University [1] in North Carolina where he was on the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic team for two years. He competed for two years, and also received his bachelor's degree from Campbell. Dapo then transferred to Bellarmine University where he played basketball for two more years and received his master's degree.[2]
Entertainment Career
Dapo Fagbenle began his video production career in the summer of 2010 and began directing music videos in the spring of 2011. Dapo has been involved with a few Internet projects, and his blog was launched in the latter half of 2011.
