Daniels Hill

Daniels Hill (70°34′S 64°36′W / 70.567°S 64.6°W / -70.567; -64.6) is a prominent solitary nunatak that rises above the ice in the eastern part of the Dyer Plateau of Palmer Land, approximately 15 nautical miles (28 km) west of the head of Clifford Glacier. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) in 1974. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Robert Daniels, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) biologist at Palmer Station, 1975.
