College

Bulls attended Old Mill High School, where he earned NSCAA second-team All-State honors as a sophomore and a junior before missing much of his senior campaign with an ankle injury. He was a first-team Anne Arundel County selection in 2002 and 2003, was a member of the 2004 Maryland state finalist Patriot squad, and played club soccer with the Bethesda Internationals, which won five straight state titles between 1999 and 2003, and a national championship in 2001.

Bulls went on to play four years of college soccer at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he was the first recipient of the then newly-named Mike Woodard Unsung Hero award as a junior in 2007.

Professional

Bulls began his professional career in 2009 when he signed with the Real Maryland Monarchs in the USL Second Division, and made his professional debut on April 25, 2009 in Maryland's 3–2 opening day victory over the Bermuda Hogges.[1]
