Subdivisions: Dangla–Migama (B.1.1)Mubi (B.1.2)The Dangla languages, the East Chadic B.1 group of the Afro-Asiatic family, are spoken in Chad.[1]
The languages fall into two branches,
- Dangla–Migama: Bidiyo, Dangaléat (Dangla), Jonkor Bourmataguil, Mabire, Mawa, Migaama, Mogum, and Ubi.
- Mubi: Mubi, Birgit, Kajakse, Masmaje, Toram, and Zirenkel.
In addition, the Kujargé language appears to have ties with the Mubi languages, but its classification is uncertain.
