DWXT-FM, branded as Xtreme 96.1, is an FM radio station owned and operated by the Government of Tarlac in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at Mcarthur Highway, Tarlac City.

History

DWXT started test broadcast in 1980, established in 1 January 1981, under the management of Filipinas Broadcasting Network. During that time DWXT-FM has no permanent DJs on board and no music format. Trainees then were the one handles program. The choice of music depends on the DJ on board. In 1986 it was acquired by Radio Corporation of the Philippines. In 2009, it was sold to the Tarlac Government.
