DCT Industrial Trust, Inc. (NYSEDCT) formerly known as Dividend Capital Trust, Inc. engages in ownership, development, acquisition and management of industrial and institutional class properties in the United States and Mexico. Investment and management activities are focused on high-quality bulk distribution and light industrial properties in high-volume distribution markets.

As of September 30, 2009, DCT Industrial Trust, managed or had under development 76,200,000 square feet (7,080,000 m2) of assets leased to approximately 850 customers, including 14,600,000 square feet (1,360,000 m2) managed on behalf of three institutional joint venture partners.[3]

DCT Industrial Trust, Inc. serves 24 markets in the United States comprising 451 developments and unconsolidated ventures with an occupancy portfolio rate of 88.3%.[4] Currently, the portfolio is divided into three key asset classes—89% on bulk distribution, 9% on light industrial and 2% on the service sector.

In 2009, DCT made four quarterly dividend payments on common shares, representing a dividend yield of 2.15%, 1.99%, 1.4% and 1.33% for each respective quarter.[5]

DCT will release financial results for the quarter and year ending December 31, 2009 after market close on Thursday, February 11, 2010. A conference call to review the released data will be made at 11 a.m. EST on Friday, February 12, 2010.[6]
