Daniel Smith Thrap (1832 – 1913) was a Norwegian priest and church historian.
He was born in Oslo, and graduated with the cand.theol. degree in 1856. He worked in Bergen from 1857 to 1876, was a curate in Modum from 1876 to 1880 and vicar in Oslo (Petrus Church) from 1880 to 1902. Notable books include Thomas von Westen og finnemissionen (1882), Bidrag til den norske kirkes historie i det 19. aarh. (two volumes, released in 1884 and 1890) and Knud Spødervold og de stærk troende (1892). He also edited the missionary magazine Zuluvennen.[1]
