CyberRegs

CyberRegs

CyberRegs was created in 1997 by Citation Technologies as the first web-based Environment, Health and Safety document portal for regulatory compliance. Up until the creation of a dynamic Internet environment, EHS professionals relied on hardcopies, PDFs, and CDs for their regulatory document needs. The foundation of CyberRegs is built on web servers interlinking documents which is patented by Citation Technologies. [1]

The core information requirements for any Environmental, Safety and Health professional are laws and regulations. CyberRegs provides a single source to a comprehensive library of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and U.S. and non-U.S. laws and regulations – including international, federal, state and local jurisdictions. [2]

Many environmental management systems are joining applications with CyberRegs through an API system so EHS regulations, citations, and requirements are automated thereby saving companies money by reducing research and compliance costs. [3]

In 2007, CyberRegs becomes a registered trademark of Citation Technologies.

In April 2009, a CyberRegs limited version was released to allow free Federal Register access for public use on the citation platform.[4]

Federal agencies rarely update the regulations to include the current ASTM designations as often as the designations change. CyberRegs has resolved this challenge for EHS professionals with a CFR ASTM offering for 29, 40, and/or 49 CFR.[5]

In June 2009, Dakota Software and Citation Technologies created ProfilerConnect to combine the change tracking and notification services of CyberRegs and the registry list capability of Dakota Profiler. [6]
