Curse Ov Dialect is a Melbourne, Australia based music group. It was the first Australian and Australian Accented hip-hop outfit to score a record deal in the United States with 2003 album Lost in the Real sky, on Los Angeles Indie Label Mush Records. THE music conveys a strong anti racist message and a call for human unity.Its members represent a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds - Anglo-Indian, Pakistani, Maltese, Macedonian, and Anglo-Maori - The cultural element is matched in their samples within their music, politically conscious rap with ethnomusicology sources and a hip hop base.They have Toured extensively through Western and Eastern Europe,United States and Japan from 2004-2010. Curse Ov Dialect are different to most Hip hop practitioners as they Perform in Folk costumes from their individual cultural Backgrounds.
