Curious Directive is a British Theatre company. The company is an ensemble of directors, producers, actors, bio-medical scientists, choreographers, writers, video artists, technicians, composers and designers[1], founded in 2008 by University of Warwick graduates.
Their productions are devised and written by members of the company, dealing with themes of science. The company often uses technology, such as projection and cameras, live music and dance. Recent productions have explored cognitive neuroscience, light, architecture, genetics, motion and bio-politics[2].
The main principle of their work is to: "create accessible and innovative science/theatre experiences which encourage its audiences to be curious about the world, peering through the lens of science"[3]
