Cucurbita okeechobeensis is a species of gourd.

The taxonomy of the species is uncertain. Some authorities divide it into two subspecies:[1][2]

  • C. o. ssp. martinezii - Martinez gourd
  • C. o. ssp. okeechobeensis - Okeechobee gourd

The rare ssp. okeechobeensis is treated as a federally listed endangered species in the United States.

Some authorities do not divide the species into subspecies.[2]
