CRYPTEX'09 is the Annual IT Awareness Techno-Management Festival of National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur Jamshedpur, (India). CRYPTEX'09 is held every February over a period of two days on the NIT Jamshedpur campus.

CRYPTEX '09 was held at NIT Jamshedpur on 14th 15th Feb, 2009. The event witnessed a huge gathering of students from a plethora of colleges from all over India. This Techfest was organized under the aegis of Ministry of Information Technology, Government of Jharkhand. It was organized by Computer Society of India Student Branch, NIT Jamshedpur, with Rachit being the General Secretary of the Event

The Title sponsor of the event was "Indian Oil Corporation Limited", with SUN Microsystems, Microsoft, State Bank of India, Pepsi, Tata Steel, Yamaha, IIHT, Arena Multimedia, McGraw Hill, SPD, Mostly Linux, Career Launcher, 6 D Technologies and IMS being other sponsors.
