Cydonie Mothersill (born
March 19 ,1978 ) born in Jamaica, She moved to the Cayman Islands at the age of 9 years. She began her track career while attending high school. She was discovered by the high school's Physical Education teacher Evelyn Rockette. Cydonie began competing for the Cayman Islands by competing in theCARIFTA Games , a regional caribbean competition. She performed extremely well. She is a Caymanian sprint athlete competing in the 200 metres. She is married toAto Modibo . She is also a world class competitor in the 100m, which was once her specialty.While in college she competed in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 4x400 for Clemson University. She was a part of the Clemson All American 4x100 and 4x400 team.
