Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) is a national organisation created to generate transformational cultural and creative programmes for children and young people across England to enhance their aspirations, achievements, skills and life chances.
Between 2009 and 2011 CCE will invest over £100 million of public funds in cultural programmes for young people in England.
Programmes
- Creative Partnerships - Creative Partnerships aims to build sustainable learning partnerships between schools, creative and cultural organisations and individuals.
- Find Your Talent - Find Your Talent is a programme being trialled in nine areas of England, which gives children and young people the chance to try out different cultural and creative activities.
Funding
CCE is funded directly by Arts Council England, which in turn is funded by public money from the government and the National Lottery. CCE will receive around £50 million per annum in 2009/10 and 2010/11.
