Glenday's interest in Guinness World Records began in 1983, when he was ten, and had received the book as a gift.[1]

Career
Prior to working at Guinness World Record, Glenday had previously worked as a church organist, a theatre-pit drummer, a food critic, as well as a medical photographer.[1]
Glenday has made appearances on shows such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Q on CBC Radio One.
