Coventry New Deal for Communities is a resident-led regeneration programme working in the four neighbourhoods of Wood End, Henley Green, Manor Farm and Deedmore in North East Coventry (known as the WEHM area). With £54million awarded to the area in 2001, Coventry NDC is in its eighth year of a ten-year programme and will complete in March 2011.
Governed by a Partnership Board comprising majority local residents elected from local resident associations and community groups, and senior officers from service providers and agencies within the area, the Board sets strategic priorities and approves all NDC activity and funding for the programme.
