Count Charles Leopold von Schlieben (German: Karl Leopold Graf von Schlieben, February 13, 1723 – April 18, 1788) was a member of the noble House von Schlieben and a Count von Schlieben.

Early life

He was born in Magdeburg. His father was Count George Adam von Schlieben (German: Georg Adam Graf von Schlieben, February 5, 1688 – June 15, 1737) and his mother was Countess Katharina Dorothea Finck von Finckenstein.

Marriage and issue

He was married January 18, 1747 in Königsberg to Countess Marie Eleanore von Lehndorff. They had two daughters, Marie Karoline (January 28, 1752 – August 2, 1832) and Friederike Amalie (February 28, 1757  – December 17, 1827). He died in Königsberg, East Prussia.

Descendants

Through his daughter, Countess Friederike von Schlieben, Charles Leopold is a 5x great grandfather of Queen Elizabeth II, 6x great grandfather of Charles, Prince of Wales, Margrethe II of Denmark, Constantine II of Greece, Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, and Harald V of Norway, and a 6 great grandfather of Prince Philippe, Duke of Brabant and Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
