Manga
Coppelion began its serialization in seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Magazine in 2008. As of August 5, 2011[update], 11 completion volumes have been published by Kodansha. The manga first appeared on Oricon best seller chart during the week of April 7–13, 2009 when Coppelion #3 ranked 29th.[1]
Anime
In September 2010, the 40th issue Weekly Young Magazine announced that an anime television adaption of the manga was green lighted.[2]
