Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster is a cluster organization [1] launched to foster and promote Danish cleantech companies, organisations, joint ventures and R&D activities. It is mean to provide a centralized location for cleantech sector networks, co-operation between members, workshops, seminars and research projects. [2][3] The establishment of the cluster organization involved the largest Danish application for European Union Structural Funds and Cohesion Funds under the Regional Competitiveness and Employment Objective. Funds were applied for via the Capital Region of Denmark in early 2009.[4]
