Liberty Aerospace is a manufacturer of general aviation aircraft based in Melbourne, Florida.

The company produces one model, the Liberty XL2, an advanced two-seat touring aircraft based on the British-designed Europa homebuilt airplane (which has been sold back to a separate management team). The aircraft design received FAA production certification in the spring of 2006 and Liberty has already received its first order from a Montana-based aircraft-leasing company. Sales have also been launched in the European market.

In a news release issued in April 2008, Liberty Aerospace CEO Keith Markley announced that some of the 180 employees at the Melbourne, Florida manufacturing facility will lose their jobs when the company starts outsourcing aircraft production to Romania. He indicated that the company will maintain its headquarters in Melbourne, but it is not clear how many employees will be still be employed by the company in the USA. cite web|url = http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/AspenAvionics_LibertyAerospace_TeamUp_197555-1.html|title = Aspen Avionics, Liberty Team Up|accessdate = 2008-04-08|last = Niles|first = Russ|authorlink = |year = 2008|month = April]
