Club career
Pană began playing football in Romania for FC Sportul Studenţesc Bucureşti. In 1990, Pană joined Greek Superleague side Panachaiki F.C. for the two seasons appearing in 53 league matches for the club.[1]
International career
Pană made one appearance for the Romania national football team, a friendly against Poland in 1983.[2]
