Edward Walter Clark, Jr. (1858 - April 4, 1946) was commodore of the Philadelphia Corinthian Yacht Club and senior partner in the E. W. Clark & Co. investment house.[1][2]

Biography

He was born in 1858 to Edward White Clark and Mary Todhunter Sill. He had a brother, Clarence Munroe Clark.[2]

He married Lydia Jane Newhall (1858-1936) in 1882.[2]

He was a trustee of the Pomfret School, and gave the school a dormitory, Dunworth, in 1905, and the year after his son George died, the Clark Memorial Chapel.[2]

In 1925, he bought the yacht Resolute.[3]

He died on April 4, 1946.[2]
