Academics
Bradford School provides career-focused courses to high school graduates. Bradford’s programs generally offer hands-on learning opportunities that help prepare graduates to start working immediately. Some programs offer externships as well. Students can graduate in 8–12 months by earning a diploma. Associate degree programs can be completed in 14–20 months. A high school diploma is a prerequisite, and 59% of applicants are accepted to the program. Nearly all graduates are placed in jobs.[1]

The Vet Tech Institute program requires 18-months to complete, and graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree. The curriculum includes hands-on instruction at the on-site kennel, working with many different kinds of animals using industry standard equipment including x-ray and surgical suites, supervised by on-staff veterinarians. Completion of the school's American Veterinary Medical Association accredited program qualifies an individual to take the national licensing exam to become a registered veterinary technician. Academic courses focus on animal anatomy and physiology. During the last semester, students complete an off-site externship, coordinated by the institute.
