Colorado State Register of Historic Properties

Colorado State Register of Historic Properties, administered by the Colorado Historical Society Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, is a listing of significant historic resources. The Colorado Historical Society, also known as History Colorado, maintains a list of the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties, which can include archaeological and historic structures, buildings, objects and districts.[1]

Properties are added to the register by nomination to the Colorado State Register. Any Colorado historic sites added to the National Register of Historic Places are automatically included in the Colorado State Register.[1]
