Coleman Bluffs

Coleman Bluffs (72°28′S 160°37′E / 72.467°S 160.617°E / -72.467; 160.617) are a loose chain of rock and ice bluffs that trend generally north–south for 5 miles (8 km), situated near the center of the Outback Nunataks, about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of Mount Weihaupt. The feature was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959–64, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Harold L. Coleman, meteorologist at South Pole Station, 1968.
