CJD (Christliches Jugenddorfwerk Deutschlands) is a German Christian charity.[1] It was founded in 1947[1] by the pastor Arnold Dannenmann. CJD is an organisation that deals with youth, education and social work.[1] Over 155,000 young people and adults every year get the chance to benefit from expert training, development work and support for their specific life situations.[1] CJD's "broad range" of education, training and development programs helps people that have dyslexics, former drug addicts, migrants, behavioural problems, learning difficulties, refugees, dropped out of school, chronically ill, highly gifted, physical and mental disablities, socially disadvantaged, young offenders and young active and passive experience of violence.[1]
